Tang dynasty art style bronze sculpture of a horse with its front right leg stepped out. In the Tang Empire (Tang dynasty, 618 – 907) horses became an important symbol of prosperity and power, as well as a tool of military and diplomatic policy. Horses were also worshiped as relatives of the dragon.
