Description
Ottoman shamshir made between 1800 and 1840 with a handle made of horn. The original scabbard is all in silver mounting. Silver is decorated with period engraving. Curved blade made of very high quality fine damascus (woods). Overall in perfect condition. The owner could be an Ottoman officer or a nobleman.
