]]> Art Deco glass bottle Tango https://eng.antikelen.cz/product/art-deco-glass-bottle-tango/ Wed, 06 May 2026 14:02:11 +0000 https://eng.antikelen.cz/?post_type=product&p=6986 The term Tango glass refers to a specific production of layered, colorful glass that originated in the first third of the 20th century in the Czech lands (especially in the Loetz glassworks). A characteristic feature is the contrasting combination of rich monochrome colors (orange, yellow, red) with black or dark blue details in the form of linear edges, handles or spirals. This aesthetic, strongly influenced by Viennese modernism and the designs of Michael Powolný, represented a transition from Art Nouveau decorativism to early modernism and Art Deco. The name reflected the popularity of Argentine tango at the time and its dynamic color symbolism.

]]> Modern tōsei gusoku armor in yoko hagi okegawa dō design with an alternative yaro-to kabutó created by covering boar hair over a zunari kabutó three-shell helmet, complete with maedate inscribed ”Namu Hachiman dai bósacu” (I invoke the great Bodhisattva Hachiman) with a mempo face mask in me no shita bō design, all with sabiji nuri (old iron lacquer) finish. On the cuirass there is “Snake’s eye” – ancestral emblem of the Kató clan. Shikoro and kusazuri with fluted surface (kiritsuke), with Oda kote armor sleeves, gourd-shaped fittings (hyotan), sukage-style lacing with loom (odoshi ito) dark blue color (Hachimanguro), tsutsu suneate.
