Description
A work by an Indian artist from the early 20th century depicting an allegory of India and Britain. The scene depicts Britain (the man in the foreground on the right) handing a hat to India (the naked woman on the left), whom he takes as a prey to cover her nakedness after he has taken everything from her. The artist uses this painting to refer to the period when there were British colonies in India.
