Ferrari was experiencing fame in the world of motor racing and with it the brand grew stronger. Enzo Ferrari liked to give watches as gifts and so he teamed up with various major watch brands to create Ferrari watches with the famous horse emblem on the dial. In the 1980s, it was Cartier with whom Ferrari collaborated to create the Ferrari Formula watch collection. The design, created in collaboration between Ferrari and Cartier, reflected the advanced technology of Ferrari racing cars and elegance, and all this was set in a contemporary design. The most significant is the asymmetrical strap and of course the Ferrari emblem on the dial.
